I just read the title book by Joe Layden. Excellent.
Of course, I'm sure you've all seen that fight.
Book notes that Douglas planned and carried out an immediate return of any dirty tactic from Tyson. When Tyson elbowed his face, Douglas returned the favor and Tyson didn't do that again.
Book has great before and after. Douglas today is a happy family man with his 3 kids. He did not squander his millions and invested and still invests wisely, including locally.
What happened after the fight is not so simple as just overeating. Douglas had several lawsuits on different ends of the country to testify at.
One question the book didn't settle for me: Was that a condom or balloon they used because they didn't have an endswell?
