I seriously doubt he beats Berchelt that dude has good boxing skills and he's heavy handed as well which would answer how well Davis can actually take a hard punch in return since he hasn't faced a puncher at all in his 2 title wins

I think Tank isnt given enough credit as a fighter (sometimes). As good as Berchelt is, I think Tank will be able to counter him effectively and potentially get a mid fight stoppage before Berchelt ever gets a chance to start punishing him in the latter mid/late rounds.

Berchelt is skilled no doubt and can crack to the head and body but my gut tells me that he’ll get cracked and hurt being so upright. Tank will counter or get him between punchres.

Cluld be wrong though and Berchelt could jab and put in heavy work to the head and nody, rack up punishment and just snowball into the later rounds.

Gut tells me Tank though! Too quick, too strong, too explosive, and reflexes too good. We’ll hopefully see one day.

Tank Davis can only stop himself...WITH FOOD

No but seriously he is a GIFTED young fighter that just needs to mature and that will come with time he is only 23 years old. The Lack of Activity was also self inflected too trying to beef with your promoter publicly while you're locked into a contract with that Promoter for a Long Time and also putting on so much weight

He very well may be right.....HOWEVER, until he proves it then it's all talk. I do think he beats Berchelt and Farmer, but I think Machado could be a tough one for him with the height difference. Interested in seeing how that fight plays out.

It needs to be proved in the ring. Why is he fighting an older fighter moving up in weight who is coming off a loss?

Mares will be his most experienced opponent. It's going to be a great fight.

Only 23 years old? Canelo was setting records fighting Floyd at 21. Plus having issues making weight at 23? Sheesh. Davis is the new Broner. "Just give him time to mature." I've heard this record before.

Floyd kept Saul Rodriguez idle because he knew Saul would have knock Tank out. This Saul guy can punch I would watch him knock kids out with 14 oz sparring gloves at 13 years of age . He knock out about 4 kids that I seen and all quit boxing after that.
