The last fight is the key here. Get by these two mismatches but then what? Can he then get DSG/Spence/Thurman/Porter? I think there is a good chance we see Thurman/Porter rematch, DSG vs possibly Spence in the summer time, and then it's wide open for the last quarter of the year. Maybe winner of DSG/Spence vs winner of Thurman/Porter? One unrealistic thing about that is Thurman damn sure isn't fighting three times in a year so you know after the Porter fight, win or lose, he will be done for the year.

None of those guys are fighting on ESPN/ESPN+.

Spence, Thurman, Pacquiao, Porter, Garcia, Broner, aren't fighting off of Showtime/CBS/FOX.

You add that Bob Arum had to guarantee Crawford $3m a fight to not jump over, and he's working with less of a money lure for the Haymon welterweights under that.

Well Spence can’t make the excuse that the fight can’t happen because his with Haymon. The thing is that the PBC fighters don’t want to fight someone Haymon won’t force them. That’s why a lot of good fights don’t happen in PBC. So this shows Spence don’t want the fight.

What's Crawford's excuse though? ESPN/ESPN+ is unlikely to be putting up the money to match/top what's been made available on FOX or Showtime, and it's not like Crawford is a monster draw anywhere. And ESPN hasn't signed Crawford to anything either.
