Frampton is ranked 1 and Warrington 2? Where, here in the British Isles? Certainly not in the entire world. I'm pretty sure most people would have at least Santa Cruz above them, probably Russell Jr and Valdez as well. Mares and Galahad at least have an argument to be set at the same level.
Both men have 1 decent win at FW; Santa cruz avenged his loss to Frampton, and the Selby that lost to Warrington was a shadow of the man that beat Gradovich with ease.

        I see Warrington beating Frampton.

Physically he’s a very demanding fight for Carl and at the smaller weights being a grown man passed 30 on the night sometimes it just isn’t there.

        Just a feeling.

Carl is a class fighter but this could be a Hatton/Tszyu type fight

Come on man Kid Galahad? He's never even won a title yet, and doesn't have any big wins either. Frampton won a title at featherweight when he beat LSC and Warrington is the unbeaten IBF champ. Galahad isn't anywhere near them until he steps up in levels.

Cheers mate so yes, ranked 1 and 2 in UK not the World. I'm British and proud of it, but if I was competing for and held world titles I wouldn't be concerned about domestic rankings.

The man's a tit who ****ed up a few years ago with drugs - that's not in doubt. But he's always chased the world level fighters to no avail. I think he's finally in a mandatory spot, so hopefully it gets called soon so we can see if he warrants it

I'm not denying his potential. I actually really like that switch hitting Ingle style. I'm just pointing out that you can't put him on the same level as Frampton, Warrington and Mares like you did. You have to judge fighters at world level on achievements and wins in the ring. Those three have done that, while Galahad still hasn't done anything.

Frampton's best win of his career is at 126 against undefeated Leo Santa Cruz, whose best win of his career is his rematch win over Frampton.

No way you can have GRJ ranked above Frampton, especially since he boxes once a year. LSC needs to stop ducking the rubber match against Frampton, he won the last one so should want to face him immediately to become lineal.

After Frampton beats Warrington he'll be consensus number 2 in the division. Tough fight but Warrington doesn't have enough power, so it's just his size and skill that will cause Frampton problems who I think takes a fair split decision.

                  1. LSC
                  2. Frampton

                  3. GRJ
                  4. Valdez
                  5. Warrington
                  6. Mares
