The Gervonta of 18-24 months ago was far superior than the shell of Gervonta today. He was rapier-sharp, always in condition, and ambitious. Now... fat, drunk, and lazy. He can blame himself for being ignorant and falling in love with AB. Broner traded hard alcohol for multiple millions long ago.

That liquor now has "Tank" stinking of alcohol in the morning and afternoon hours, robbing him of the desire to rise early and get that road-work in. I can see part of what you're saying, but you seem to have some insight. He's short and pudgy, and you don't get that way living clean, boxer clean for sure. Liquor sounds like the culprit, everything else is banned, only liquor is as bad as any opiate. It's def a no no if you seek adulation. Nobody respects a drunk. If that is the case, I don't know, he should at least stop while his career hangs in the balance.

Never known Mares to disrespect or trash talk his opponent, have you? He's soft spoken and polite. He can be demonstrative in the ring, "bring it on" gloves language . But unless Davis starts something, it should be a civil promotion.
