I was hoping Broner said some truly derogatory things about Manny and Roach. I can think of 5 or 6 more things he could've said that really would've been demeaning. Broner is taking a dive anyway so it doesn't matter.

Maybe Mayweather Promotions has a policy similar to ESPN where talent is not allowed to criticize other talent. If so good for Floyd, can't have Broner belittling a new employee on TV like that. Might make it hard to asquire other boxers.

I think he simply meant that they know Broner makes crude and ignorant comments w the intention of drumming up interest and drawing attention. This is what makes Broner a draw. Not his fighting skills, but his popularity due to being politically incorrect. And this is the reason that they picked Broner as an opponent. Because of his popularity. And again, his popularity is due to comments like this.

So, he’s right. While they may not know the exact comments he will make, or the precise events that will transpire leading up to the fight, they are counting on Broner being Broner.
