What does PBC, DAZN & ESPN need to do....

...over the next several years to become the #1 source for boxing fans to watch boxing like HBO formerly represented for the sport?

I'm curious what people think each platforms specific road to the top looks like in the coming years based on their current tactics & what they are doing well with & things they need to improve on.

PBC and ESPN are fine. They have the biggest audience. They have the most opportunities.

DAZN needs the most work. They need people to know about them. Hearn is always talking about no one knows Wilder. Well no one knows what the hell DAZN is.

Yeah, we as boxing fans know about it. But what about everyone else. You can accidentally turn it to ESPN or FOX.

Work together. Bake another pie instead of trying to get a bigger slice of the pie for yourself.

It's pretty simple. Make the best fights and continue making them. Whatever it takes.

DAZN needs to get NFL Sunday Ticket.

PBC needs their fighters to fight 2-3 times a year.

ESPN needs to actually sign fighters.

Make good fights and sell them at affordable rates.

Espn+ needs their own app. Not have it all intertwined with regular espn stuff.

DAZN, help GBP and Matchroom get bigger stables. Also, lose those light colored ring floors and white ropes. Looks weird. Blue ring floors look best.

Boxing needs a damn Miracle particularly in the US! These numbers are TERRIBLE! Boxing killing with the Baby Boomers Generation though!

Fanbase is too OLD while the younger generation just flat out don't care about the sport and/or they care about UFC more which is why McGregor vs Khabib completely DESTROYED Canelo vs GGG 2 in PPV Buys. It is concerning actually! However, this is why being on ESPN and Fox is actually needed, the sport needs to be seen on bigger platforms and not exclusively on Premium Networks and I don't think being just exclusively on a APP is good either because Casual Sports fans are not going to come and find this sport at all

Get with youtuber KSI, he seems to have the Formula for getting younger people interested in boxing you probably would've been better off signing him than Canelo right now

Making Big Fights Fixes nothing particularly when Casuals don't even know most of these guys yet so making a big fight now will FLOP until you spark the Casual Sports Fans Interest into what we consider "Big Fights"

Yea thats DAZN's biggest hurdle right now. Letting people know they exist at all.

I think bringing Joshua to the US is gonna help if/when that ever happens. If they could make Joshua a US draw + have Canelo it'd be hard for people to now be able to find them. I think Canelo is already gonna help a huge amount with getting DAZN known. How much we shall see.

Is working together gonna get any one of them to #1 doe? This is a battle, a war of sorts. Sure some working together is gonna happen & its unlikely to hurt anyone, but I don't believe it has much to do with who becomes #1 post-HBO.
