Charlo wasn't going to fight GGG any time soon. The WBC didn't order the fight because it wasn't their turn. It was IBF's turn for GGG to face his mandatory. GGG's WBC mandatory was Heiland at that time. Charlo face Heiland in June 2017 to become the GGG's mandatory. Canelo/GGG was announced in May 2017, a month before Charlo became mandatory the next month. GGG fought Canelo in Sept. 2017, then instead of facing his mandatory IBF challenger that was called, he fought Vanes. Charlo was calling for GGG fight but GGG wanted the Canelo rematch and the WBC wasn't calling for the mandatory. They haven't even called Canelo's mandatory yet

I'm sure everybody would love to see this matchup.. the only potential stumbling block is the network providing golovkin accepts the fight and possibly signs with dazn or espn prior...but I can also understand the reason for him not to accept..the money for one and the potential of losing the canelo fight if he fights charlo..sulaiman should flex those wbc muscle and try to enforce it by being the mediator between both partiesComment

I mean Sulaiman is a corrupt bastard. The announcement of this fight was disgusting and proved further the WBC's protection of Canelo. F*** Sulaiman.Comment

the announcement of that fight showed Golovkin's true colors
if proved that the ducking of Derevyanchenko was no accidentComment

what happened to all of that " anyone from 154-168 " bullshlt?
the dude won't even fight threats at 160
like knowledegable observers have been saying for YEARS.....
" Whatever you think of Golovkin the fighter, there is a serious mismatch here between his team’s words and their deeds "

I don't think this Fielding fight is a one off. I think Canelo is trying to see what that weight fells like and see how he performs. I think he has plans at 168 with Zurdo tbh. Might try to drain him to 164.Comment

you could be right
I considered that, because Reynoso mentioned 168 before Golovkin
not sure
unless Zurdo runs around talking about " anyone from 160 "..... or until he fights other middleweights at catchweight..... that fight should happen at 168Comment
