I don't think Spence is ducking, but Haymon clearly does not want the fight right now. He would prefer to match Spence up with his guys like Garcia, Porter, Thurman ect, then be forced to work with Arum.

I thought Spence was his own boss! Dela Hoya didn’t want the Lara fight for Canelo but Canelo made it happen at the age of 24! If the boxer wants it; it happens; at the end of the day the boxer is the one paying his advisor, manager, and promoter!

Then ppl say if crawford had signed with pbc it woulda happened lol. Failing to see spence fighting a lightweight, porter a showcase and thurman a big layoff comeback fight and we all know D Garcia aint risking nothing until he just cannot afford any tune ups lol. Really sad what my favorite sport has become. Nothing to really get excited about going into 2019. Waited for PBC to announce early 2019 schedule with a **** and all I see is a bunch of mismatches. Spence-Garcia (mismatch), Garcia - Granados (mismatch), Thurman-Lopez (mismatch)...Wilder and Joshua are not getting close to fighting...Spence and Crawford will never fight...Hell Spence wont even fight a top welterweight on his side of the house and Crawford gonna end up fight another Uber driver, who I cant even say his name, GGG looking for a megadeal after riding canelo's coattail the last year and a half and probably won't risk anything major until a solid deal is in place, Charlo brothers with all their talent will only fight stiffs...man boxing right now is screwed. Hopefully the second half of 2019 pits winners of this match up against one another. 2018 was hot, 2019 should build onto that but nit the case so far.
