When the gumshield came out, that was an indication of not wanting to be there, I thought, Gavin showed a bit of heart, but for whatever reason, he was never in it to win it in the first place. Missing weight is inexcusable

The way that Gavin was frozen initially by a headshot was really unusual. You see it often with a body shot where a guy will just stop moving as he observes the punch, but Gavin just froze for 3 seconds after a right to the temple. Thought it was over there and then, but he did well to come back for a little while.
Lejarraga has to step it now. Want to see him in with someone who has a chin and can box.Comment

Ibf
The IBF only fill the higher ranking slots if fighters in the top 10 have fought each other and obviously one of them wins. I thinks the top 2 or maybe 3 not exactly sure but that's why they have non-listings in their rankings. And they enforce their mandatories on the champions as well, making them the best governing body potentially. Only thing is often the best 15 fighters in the world are not all in the IBF rankings but that's down to the promoter's choice who pay sanctioning fees and usually pick one of the four to follow and pick up those crappy international ranking belts.
The IBF could've made nice money off fees for Canelo v GGG 2 but chose to strip Golovkin instead. Also Tyson Fury got stripped because he agreed to rematch Klitsckho. But again behind the scenes you always have promoter's willing to offer more money in sanctioning fees to get that vacant belt, I'm sure Hearn had a word on those 2 particular occasions to get Joshua his first world title and get Jacobs a world title to boost his stable. Oh the lovely straight world of boxing, gotta love it.Comment

Why thinking about Spence and Crawford? Lejarraga should chase Porter-Ugas winner. very beatable opponent. Lejarraga is highly ranked by WBC.Comment
