As expected, time for Ennis to step up a little at least vs a Journeyman Veteran at least, yeah only 21 years old but has had 22 Fights

The talent and potential is undeniable though just want to see him vs better competition

Showtime doing great building up that next generation by getting behind guys like Ennis and Devin Haney early

Jaron Ennis transformed himself from prospect to a legitimate 147-pound contender. The switch-hitting Ennis displayed speed, double-fisted power and killer instinct, and scored three final round knockdowns during his 12th straight knockout against veteran welterweight Raymond Serrano before his screaming, partisan, hometown Philadelphia fans on Friday night at the 2300 Arena in Philadelphia, ending a scheduled 10-round main event on ShoBox: The New Generation on Showtime.

So beating a journeyman suddenly makes Ennis a contender?

Why he wasn't trying to back up the brinks truck for him and Haney still baffles me. Dude signed some average ass amateurs and tried to sell them as being something they weren't. You want a future star? Well, go overpay for Ennis and Haney right now and reap the benefits down the line.

Why hasn't Floyd signed Haney? That's the million dollar question! Kid trains with your father, in your gym! Tank's first fight @ 135 should be vs. Haney, and Floyd should be promoting that ASAP!

Haney's pops is too smart not to sign with Floyd. Him having a promotional company at the age of 19 or 20 is insane. But Hearn had the war chest of cash where he could have offered Haney a deal Mayweather couldn't.

Maybe Haney's Pops is too smart for Hearn too? I want to see Tank fight GRJ, Berchelt, or Farmer @ 130, or move to 135! Tank vs. Mares is "OK," but Tank shouldn't be fighting "OK" fighters anymore, especially since he's not fighting 3 times a year! Tank vs. Haney @ 135 would be a good test for both fighters, and should be easy to make too!
