Comments Thread For: Broadcast Team For PBC on FOX Shows Will Look Familiar

The faces you'll see and voices you'll hear on the new FOX Sports boxing broadcasts will be familiar. FOX and Premier Boxing Champions on Tuesday formally announced its upcoming schedule of cards including one pay-per-view show, Errol Spence vs. Mikey Garcia under a new agreement between the television network and management company.

Lewis has the personality of a cardboard box behind the mic.

"Respect"…..followed by a three second delayed laugh…. Lol, guy is bad. I mentioned it a few days ago, but instead of going after quality, networks want to just go after big names.

I wonder what Roy's situation at HBO looks like. Is he completely free after the last HBO card? If so, they need to add him to some of the broadcasts.

I'd love for Roy to get a gig somewhere prefebly DAZN they hands down have the worst team. This is what kinda sucks about HBO and showtime no longer being the two players in the the boxing game,I can honestly say I loved both of their commentary teams for different reasons. ESPN, DAZN and FOX teams just plain suck. ESPN is the best out the three and thats not saying much

SHO for the time being isn't going anywhere. Roy replacing Ray would be great but I don't see DAZN doing that. Roy over Lewis though would be great.....Something unlikely to happen. Maybe they can have both do a set number of shows a year? Not sure Lewis would want to do 22-26 shows a year anyways.

Roy Jones should be in high demand and will probably get a gig elsewhere now that HBO isn't staying in Boxing. FOX would be wise to try and snatch him up but DAZN would be more likely destination just because of the sheer volume of fights they will be doing next year they need more then 1 crew to handle it all anyway. Roy is good at what he does and always gives a insight to what fighters are thinking. But the rest of the HBO on air crew needs to go away. Maybe Max Kellerman because of his ties to ESPN goes there calling their fights but he is doing more non boxing stuff and being just as terrible with that as he became in boxing.

Roy keeps fighting he won't be able to talk in a few years. Always loved to watch him box in his prime, but that was a long time ago. Wished he'd stick to commentary.
