Fury hired Roach for the big fight? De La Hoya vs. Mayweather, Pacquiao vs. Mayweather, Cotto vs. Canelo, Lebedev vs. Gassiev! That Freddie Roach? Great pick! Lol!

May be wrong but I really don't think this is just a late decision all planned I believe to get headlines closer to the fight..its not a real ppv without roach.. either way don't think it will hurt..

Just like Tyson was always going to fight wilder after two fights, warren need the money and fury just wants the payday without going through contenders. All planned along with wilders team offering 50mil etc when they knew they had fury in the bag... publicity..And they knew Hearn had separate plans anyway.. same for when hearn was returning the favour.. they know they're not fighting each other until they're ready to cash out.

Good chance that Wilder starches Fury and does it within eight rounds. There is a distinct possibly that the KO will be so dramatic that real boxing fans will demand that AJ stop avoiding Wilder and face the music. Play time is over Hearn!

Wilder has great attributes that have him where he is, but Fury's going to have him off balance, reacting to feints, following him around the ring trying to land one big punch. If Fury's conditioning is what it was for the Klitschko fight, this will be a more exciting version of Klitschko-Fury, but that fight was no fluke and Wilder's trainers can see it in trying to develop a gameplan for him.

Wilder's going to have to constantly press and employ a dedicated body attack because while Fury's on the move, it's going to be a nightmare for him to land anything clean to the head.
Deontay Wilder and Klitchko are very different fighters. Wlad was slow and a bit robotic, Wilder is quick and very athletic. Klitchko punched hard but Wilder punches harder. Klitchko was a very conventional fighter while Deontay is unorthodox yet still a much better boxer than given credit for. Also, Fury's jab is not as good or as hard as Wilder's.

Bottom line is it is impossible to judge this fight on the basis of what Fury did with Klitchko. Styles make fights and the styles in this fight match up very differently than Fury's fight against Klitchko.

Wilder isn't as a big of a puncher as people think. I've seen him have to go 10 with Luis Ortiz and go 12 with Stiverne..and those goes aren't on Fury's level.
Wilder's 12 round go with Stiverne proved he does indeed have good boxing skills. 12 rounds yes, but the fight wasn't close. The second 12 round fight with Stiverne was an utter distruction and the fact that he KO's him punching through his guard show he has crushing punching power.
