Women's boxing does itself no favours!

Claressa Shields fighting this weekend against a 5-2 Scottish bum. What's the point? It's a foregone conclusion. Meanwhile #2, #4, #5 and #6 in the division have no fights lined up. Women's boxing is bad enough without the top "fighters" cherry-picking!

She was supposed to fight Hammer this weekend. She pulled out not Claressa.

I couldn’t care less about women’s boxing tbh, the general standard is just so poor.

The talent pool is nowhere near deep enough to justify this stuff being on prime time TV. There are probably fewer than five full-time pros in any given division

I was excited about the Hammer vs Shields fight.

            Hope it happens.

Fair enough Clarissa Shields is like a man and is a cut above every other female boxer. But she should at least prove it. No point padding her record when there's less than 5 fighters in any division worth fighting. Christina Hammer, Alicia Napoleon, Raquel Miller and Ivana Habazin, that's it. Fight them four then move up. Never gonna get anywhere fighting palookas. There's also a few Super Welterweights who could move up and challenge Shields, but who really wants to see that? Would much rather see her moving up and challenging her self.

The only way for Woman boxing to get shine is for the promoters to start using their sexuality like UFC did with Ronda Rousy, Holm and Tate

make them do sexy photo shoots and stuff or even have one drop a sex tape or ******* video and it will go viral like Kim K or Paris Hilton

I think if you had a hot or sexy female fighter like an Alicia napoleon or Hannah Gabriels doing a sex tape the buzz would bring interest to the sport for them

we live in an age where a sex tape make syou more famous, back in the 80s if you dropped a sex tape you would get Rob Lowed dude lost his career for several years when he had a sex tape

They keep trying to market Katie Taylor, Shields, Serrano sisters but I don't think anyone cares.
