American boxing is dead. Only the Americans don’t know boxing is still one of the biggest sports in the world and seems to have a big following everywhere else. Take boxing to where the boxing fans are. Imagine having soccer matches (soccer is the biggest sport in the world) in America because the Americans would pay more for it even though they don’t follow the sport? That’d be really stupid no more big boxing matches in America. When the American audience is gone outside of a few forums.

which is why he will not fight Deontay Wilder
Old Trafford, the largest venue in Manchester only holds 75,000.

Although, the fact that Fury couldn't sell out the Manchester Arena suggests that there is no chance of him ever filling Old Trafford.

They sold the tickets cheap sold a few thousand then price flexed them up and sales dropped off. now they are bargain bucketing them on Stub hub and groupon (no troll).

The tickets are reasonable compared to UK prices, some people have tried to make them look pricey by comparing them to UK prices but they are using back of stadium or arena prices For a big fight as they haven't opened teh top tier they are all mid tier tickets which makes it worse.

A bit sad really and this half arsed promotion probably tarnishes any future US AJ v Wilder fight :-(. probably all caused by Warrens bankcrupty.

                  They should have ...

Put the fight in NYC (easier for UK fans)
Held the ticket prices at their start prices
Reduced the cost of the ppvs (get the numbers first, buld the buyer base for futire fights)
Put some 50:50's on the undercard, maybe a good Mexican

All that would hit revenue but I suspect Finkel and Warren have run off with most of the cash expect a large kickback from teh LA stadium and StubHub to not be on the books an dstraight into their pockets to explain this debacle.

Wow this is pretty sad. The ticket prices are way too expensive. I guess they overestimated the interest for this fight and got greedy.

We said this many times last week, they didn’t think this fight over at all. This fight should have happened in Manchester or Wembley. And it would have sold out in support of both fighters. Not trying to shift tickets on groupon.
