    Feel so bad for Ogogo...

He’s put a series of heartfelt and pretty dark videos across his social media:

He looks really broken by his debilitating eye injury. All he wants to do is box again, not for the money, instead because he loves the sport. He has even invested a vast amount of his own money including having to remortgage his house in order to pay for eye surgeries, treatments etc.

I really hope he can make a full recovery and we can see him in the ring again. It’s not looking likely though... 🙏

Looks like he's going through some stuff. Young fighters should always have a plan B in case boxing doesn't work out, for every one floyd mayweather there are 1000 ogogos. At times you just need a bit of luck in life/boxing to make it to the next level, and unfortunately he was dealt a crap hand. Wish him all the best though.

I knew what happened in the last fight was a shame, but I didn't know he was struggling like this... Seems like a real good dude, I'm pulling for Ogogo on this. Thanks for posting this though, I'm ghost on social media and this would've slipped by me.

Just one of the many reasons why I have no problem with fighters trying to get the most money possible every time they fight and also if they only want to fight 2-3 times a year while you have Promoters and Fans who want them to fight 5 Times a year because they're not the ones taking damage in training camps and these fights.

Fighters should NEVER EVER Listen to Fight Fans...EVER! Do things your way and your way ONLY! Fans can help you during these tough times all they will do is ask for more "When You Coming Back" "Why You Not Fighting". No fans are more selfish than BOXING FANS! Boxing fans want to treat fighters like they're Characters on a Video Game like they can just pick up a remote and make the fight anytime they want them to fight

He got a gift in the Olympics, then had his heart set on becoming a celebrity through boxing. His eye is seriously messed up for life, there's no way he should be allowed back into a boxing ring. The thing is, if you look at pictures of him even as an amateur, you can see he had a bad eye even back then.

He comes across as an entitled, narcissistic idiot TBH.

Not all good amateurs have what it takes to succeed as a pro. Ogogo was pampered and over hyped before he even turned pro and it is clear he just isn't good enough.

I’ve met Ant in person a few times and he’s a genuinely nice fella, he’s definitely interested with the prospect of fame, but all in all he’s a very friendly guy who genuinely loves the sport of boxing. Knows his boxing as well.
