Not at all. Machado best the man and at a weight disadvantage while Tank beat a dude coming off a loss at a lower weight class and inactive for a year. Really no comparison.

I realize that but it wasn’t a paper title. GGG willing gave that title up to face Vanes. Just like not Andrade fault BJS popped. And Farmer got robbed in his title fight and dude popped after. U can’t compare that to inventing a title for Tank. Same way the did for Broner to klimov off a loss too. WBA does that for Haymon

actually he did beat the super champ. And he beat him at a weight disadvantage. Tank fought some featherweight who was inactive for a year and coming off a loss for a title that didn’t exist. Big difference.

Money always talks with the WBA, getting another bag of money from Ahmet Öner and Charr can keep his title.

Yet more proof that the WBA "regular" belt is not a World title, but a mere sub-champ belt.
The sanctioning bodies need to get back to having just one World title each, with a proper points-based ranking system that is public for fans to view. At the moment there is just no trust from the average boxing fan that the sanctioning bodies are run in a way that is completely legal and fair to the boxers that fight under their banner.
There are far too many boxers ranked high enough to get a title shot that have done little to justify their lofty positions - apart from maybe buying their way up the rankings.

No. He beat the former super champ who had been stripped the day before the fight.

It's the WBA world title whether you like it or not. The question is whether the WBA deserves to be a recognized organization.

                Hint: it doesn't.

Good. Last thing we need is Jarrell Miller claiming to be a 'World' champion.

Well as the oldest of the 4 main sanctioning bodies recognized today, they are here to stay whether you like them or not.
They just need to make a few changes to stop further descent into idiocy - chief among them would be only recognizing 1 World champ at each weight instead of 2 and in some cases 3.
All of the sanctioning bodies could do with a more evidence based ranking system though, and all have at least a few boxers in questionably high positions in their rankings.
The WBA are not the only ones who are a bit dodgy, all of them are guilty of at least a few dubious practices.
