oh dear.povetkin failed multiple drug tests and failed the drug test when wilder was SUPPOSED to fight him BEFORE aj
Wilder in 2018 is to have fought 2 top 5 heavyweights so his resume will be better than aj i'd say bc he called out aj and aj turned down $50 MILLION dollars in 2018 to secure a fight with povetkin when they said wembley was not available for the wilder fight.
barry hearn has stated multiple times he doesnt care to ever see the wilder fight
There's no limit to this stuff.Comment

Yeah you're right. There's no possible way I could counter a guy saying the green belt trumps actual wins and referencing points on boxrec.
You have me soundly beat.Comment

Last three Wilder opponents:
#1 - Former WBC world heavyweight champion.
#2 - Former interim WBA world heavyweight champion.
#3 - Former IBF, Super WBA & IBF world heavyweight champion.
So when the previous poster claimed Wilder has never faced a former champion, clearly they were incorrect. If you want to continue to stick up for someone who was so clearly wrong, have at it. Best of luck.Comment

WOW, you are still reaching with the interim champion ***** hahahaha. If you want to stick up for someone who has fought 38 bums out of 40 fights, best of luck to you too hahahah because Wilder is a fraud and a bum beater. That's why this fight has only sold 8k in tickets and the PPV will tank. Because no one wants to see him stumble around the ring against Fury who is not ready. You can pump Wilder all you want, but the proof is in the pudding. 10 years and he is only now halfway stepping up.Last three Wilder opponents:

Riiiight so if AJ has 4 belts and Wilder has one, then why is it so hard for *****s like yourself to understand that 15 million is a very generous offer to someone who has a 1/4 belt ratio and also the 1 belt guy can't fill an arena or have a big PPV? If it was reversed, and Wilder was a PPV star and had 4 belts to AJ's 1, I bet you's change your tune. They're six points apart. They essentially have identical resumes. Of course I'm an advocate of boxrec. It's the best way to cut through all bull**** and all bias and see who has actually faced and beaten real competition.
Wrong. I pointed out that belts aren't considered by boxrec. That's a fact. So when the other poster acted like Wilder's belt is why he had a high rating, clearly that poster knows nothing about how boxrec works.
Whether I like it or you like it, the sport revolves around the belts. Who fights who, which fights networks buy, etc are determined by the belts or pursuit of belts 99% of the time.
But boxrec is a way to see who has actually proven themselves. Belts can often be an illusion, even if they're incredibly valuable in the marketplace.Comment

Luis Ortiz may have never captured the highest belt, but it's crazy to call him a bum. Look what he did to Bryant Jennings, a man who had just gone 12 rounds with Klitschko. It's extremely difficult for him to find opponents because he's a high risk for anyone in the division.Comment
