I wrote the story on here a while ago that when I first heard of Canelo, before he even made his American debut, I checked him out on boxrec and it said he already 30 something fights including like 3 loses and 3 draws. Something like that.
Then just before his American debut they changed his record to 21-0-1.

Huh?!?!? Never heard this before. Is this legit?
Who were his L's to? Anyone got tape of those fights?
I've heard some say Canelo had 10ish fights extra that weren't kept cuz Mexico gots sh^tty low level fights happening, but I had just assumed they were all W's.

Yeah, that's what I saw.
For all I know boxrec made a mistake, but I know that his record had 30 something wins with 3 loses and 3 draws. Something along those lines.
It was a long time ago I can't remember the names.
If I knew Canelo was going to be as big as he is or that they were going to change his record I would have taken a picture, but hindsight is 20/20.
i went on webarchive to look at archives of his old boxrec page. it only allows you see as far back at 2012. it does have an archive of it from 2009, but doesn't work when it's clicked, as if it's been removed.
