Jermall Charlo vs Willie Monroe (C-) Dig Monroe as a person, not so much as a fighter
Jermell Charlo vs Tony Harrison (B+) More competitive fight going in then most think
Dominic Breazeale vs Carlos Negron (A-) Dominic is always fun to watch

Jan. 13 @ Microsoft Theater in LA

Jose Uzcategui vs. Caleb Plant (B) Nice conflict in styles

Jan. 26 @ Barclays in NYC

Keith Thurman vs. Josesito Lopez (D-) Can't blame Keith for taking an easy one, but not excited for it
Adam Kownacki vs Gerald Washington (B-) Kownacki is becoming a low key fun fighter to watch

Feb. 16 @ TBA in LA

Leo Santa Cruz vs. Miguel Flores (D-) BS opponent for LSC here, Flores has lost 2 of his last 3 fights
Omar Figueroa Jr vs John Molina Jr (A-) This should be a good one, both guys usually fun to watch

Feb. 23 @ The Armony in Minneapolis

Anthony Dirrell vs. Avni Yildirim (C-) Okay matchup

Mar. 9 @ TBA in Las Vegas

Shawn Porter vs. Yordenis Ugas (B-) These two's styles should mesh well for a fun fight, but not super invested in either guy

Mar. 16 @ AT&T Stadium in Arlington

Errol Spence Jr. vs. Mikey Garcia (A-) Few seem excited for this one, but I'm one of them, both are bigger names & this fight is gonna left one of them up higher

Mar. 24 @ MGM National Harbor in Oxon Hill, Maryland

Lamont Peterson vs. Sergey Lipinets (A-) This seems like a very winnable fight for both guys. Low key looking forward to this matchup

Apr. 13 @ The Armory in Minneapolis

Caleb Truax vs. Peter Quillin (C-) Solid name matchup here, but I've been bored with Quillin for awhile

Apr. 20 @ TBA in TBA

Danny Garcia vs. Adrian Granados (C-) Danny probably coulda got the Spence fight if he had the balls to call his shot so not really excited for this caliber of fight for Danny

Like most of the fights announced but the one I’m geeking on is not Garcia/Spence but Santa Cruz/Flores. Yeah he’s on a losing streak but I like the kid style.

I can't believe they aren't trying to hijack Cinco de Mayo. I think thats a lost opportunity. I'd be trying to make people think Canelo died or something. Maybe the Showtime schedule will have something doe.

Uzcategui vs Plant and Porter vs Ugas should be good fights but the rest of these matchups are pretty weak. Sounds to me like most of the lower quality fights will go to FOX, the stronger ones to Showtime and then anything above that will be on PPV.

They should. There are legit gonna be people who got no clue what happened to Canelo come Cinco de Mayo. Might as well try to help people forget. Throw LSC on the undercard. JCC Jr lol. There are a ton of quality low level Mexican dudes with PBC...throw them on that card to. Make it a whole f#cking party of a card.

Thats what I've been saying/thinking. Mikey could become the new king of Cinco de Mayo til/if the casual fans find Canelo again. This is free f#cking money potentially cuz any card on that day is gonna do better numbers than any other card.

They might be lining it up for Floyd vs Manny II doe like you said. I tend to doubt Floyd vs Broner would happen if Broner somehow upsets Manny.

Give the boxing fan and casual fan just a bunch of blahh type matchups. Al Haymon just burned the heck out of Fox on this deal.

The original PBC that came out a few years back made a 100 times better matchup to start the year. And those were time slot buys

Now that Fox is paying Haymon he give them these shhht matchups.

Someone name me one can’t miss matchup.

Oh well, it ain’t like this was unexpected from Al Haymon. I guess in a couple years when Fox drops PBC. We will all say, I told you so.

I believe haymon will put the more competitive fights on fox during football season. Right now SHO will have the more competitive fights like they do the beginning of every year
