Are spence and crawford in a 'who can fight the worst opponent' competition?

Crawford took back the lead after Spence/ocampos by fighting someone outside the top 30 with one knee but spence coming back strong by fighting an average sized lightweight who is half his size. Thank god we are marinating the fight between them, the welter division is on fire!!! THIS.IS.BOXING!!!!

Both are fighting dog **** opponents which has become par for the course but fans will tell you "X is ducking Spence" "Crawford best fighter in the world"

What I don't understand is why do these clowns get exposure, hype and attention and guys like Porter and Hurd don't? Hurd has run the gauntlet, Porter just keeps on fighting the best back to back. America should be putting those two dudes at the forefront, not raging alcoholics like Spence.
