Now I’m starting to see a trend (not saying your necessary doing it) where someone likes a fighter a lot who struggles in a fight offensively, for example Usyk vs Bellew.

So instead of admitting Usyk was being outboxed and cleverly countered, which gave Usyk real problems with his offensive production, they’ll just see what they wanna see and come to a false conclusion that Usyk was just giving rounds away on purpose.

Or that Usyk was carrying the fight on longer for the fans. Or just ignore they saw Usyk struggling at all.
Rigo's feet are gone. That's why Loma was able to fight the way he did.

Usyk wasn't being out-boxed. I would say Bellew out-foxed him a few times in the first three rounds.
I notice that whenever a fighter is on the back-foot they are automatically out-boxing their opponent. So a guy on the front foot can't outbox anyone? It's just a general question.

Usyk took Bellew's left hand right away. Bellew didn't really land any jabs or left hooks during the fight now did he?
It took Usyk a few rounds to make adjustments to Bellew's plan, but he figured it out by the fourth.
Some people, not saying you, act like Usyk wasn't doing anything, but why was Bellew tired by the 5th round? Usyk knew what he was doing. He took Bellew's left hand away, which made Bellew rely solely on his right hand. Bellew was able to catch Usyk a few times with the right, but he missed it more than he landed. That is one of the things that contributed to Tony getting tired so quick. Plus the constant pressure and feints that Usyk was doing.
Bellew looked like he was in the shape of his life. Usyk has done this to several opponents already. He just puts a lot of mental and physical pressure on guys.
Usyk's front foot game really doesn't get a lot of credit. The funny thing is that his front foot game is considered his weakest.

I think Bellew gave Usyk a few problems, but I do think some are exaggerating his success. Most people expected a blowout so, once they saw that Bellew had success they automatically assumed the worst.
I knew Tony was going to go hard in this fight. It was going to be his last fight after all.

Yes he did. The jab to Usyk’s midsection was landing all night.

So your saying fighting fighters in your own weight class is more challenging then trying to beat a stronger champion at a higher weight class huh?

                  • Great fight.. can't wait. Mikey is going up for the challenge. No different from JMM fighting FMM.

                      Its more competitive

Why would i wanna see a mismatch?

And its better for the fighters career too. Spence is gonna damage mikey . Why would i wanna see a p4p fighter damage his own prime , i wanna see him take advantage of his prime by fighting in winnable fights against fellow elite opposition- loma, wbss at 140, davis, berchelt
