Yeah, I agree. This fight should be ready for January at the latest. It's not even particularly a fight that makes sense but I guess it holds some appeal in that it's two fighters with "name popularity". I hope it's less one-sided than I think it will be.

This fight will do about 400K ..but the gate will be crazy... Dallas will come and support Spence. The last fight was crazy. The timing is great.. will be right after income tax checks coming in and no other sports will have a big event.. Fox will flood the tv with ads.. Mexican and blacks will support this fight... Will be a crazy scene at the fight...

As a Garcia fan, I just hope Spence knocks him out quick and saves Mikey from career ending punishment.

Gotta give props to him though, he's fighting the most avoided welterweight simply because people keep telling him he'll lose. He has something to prove and that makes fighters dangerous, however there are weight classes for a reason and motivation only goes so far...
