I think he will. A disciplined fighter with a good jab beats Porter.

Porter only PBC fighter that fights top competition. I’ll watch the fight. I still don’t like how they don’t fight outside of PBC. Top Rank has a Lituanian fighter at 147 that would be a good match vs Porter. He fights on 11/16 under the hooker vs Saucedo undercard.

I can hardly believe the crap I am reading. First Spence is chastised for fighting a smaller Garcia then I read he could have taken the Porter fight instead? BS! He would have taken a unification fight long before the Garcia fight.

If it was Spence fighting Ugas, he would somehow be criticized for it. Porter didn't mention Spence as a priority until AFTER he got the fight with Garcia.

Bull****. Spence has been trying to get a fight with Thurman, Danny Garcia, and Porter. They talk big but won't fight him. Spence is the last guy to accuse of not fighting anybody. You can't force these guys to fight.

Ugas throws really hard from different angles, much like Thurman does! He's also going to be in top shape as usual! This will not be an easy night for Porter, unless he catches Ugas with something wicked!

Ugas vs any of the top guys would be a good fight.

Once Porter gets his head in the mix he will break Ugas concentration

From what i have seen of him, Ugas is technically sound but nothing special....and it is going to take more than a Ugas type caliber fighter to wrest Porter's belt from him and kill potential million dollar paydays against Thurman or Spence.

Ugas has a couple of decent wins against Ray Robinson and Jamal James, but also has a couple of losses to Imir Imam (who lost to Granados, who Porter beat), and Emanual Robels and Johnny Garcia. (Both guys have 5 or 6 losses)

Ugas will be competitive, but no way he will beat Porter, imo.

Did you know Ugas was not fully concentrated on his career back then? What he can do now is what is important.
