Like it! Would have liked Kownacki vs Breazeale better. So I guess this is why we aren't seeing Joyce vs Washington?

Also, the article mentioned Thurman vs Lopez as the main event? So the man is actually really going to return?????? Say it ain't so!

Would've much rather seen Kownacki vs. Ortiz or Breazeale, but it is what it is? Does anyone know if Luis Ortiz has re-signed with Eddie Hearn yet?

According to his manager they were going to potentially sign with Hearn after the Wilder card. But if that was true, I can't think of why Haymon would put Ortiz on the UC. Maybe Haymon holds on to Ortiz to set up a potential rematch with Wilder or potentially for Joyce for late 2019?

not a bad scrap. I just wish Washington was more active having fought only once this year.

Thurman should fight someone at least a little better than lopez though. I know it’s a tune up but at least face Berto. Even a collazo rematch is better than this trash

Very nice heavyweight bout! I slightly lean towards Kownacki at this point but anything could happen in the sport of boxing and especially in the Heavyweight division.

That man is at least fighting. But regardless, this the only tune up he gets. Next fight has to be against a top guy, whether it be DSG, Porter or Spence. He doesn't deserve another easy fight after being out for two years. And I don't think he will want one. Dude only fought once in 2016 and 2017, but it was against Porter and DSG.

And no excuse for Spence after the Mikey fight not to get one of, Thurman/Porter/DSG/Crawford next.

Washington out boxed Wilder but was level on 2 scorecards? WTF that even means, you either up on the cards or you are not out boxing anyone.

Kownacki vs Breazeale yes; That would have been a knock down drag out fight because they both eat a lot of punches.

On the other hand Kownacki vs Ortiz no way. King Kong is just too technical, scientific and fundamentally and defensively sound for the still green and crude Adam Kownacki. Ortiz drops and eventually stops him before round eight.

Decent fight, Washington will jab a lot and try to keep this at distance while Kownacki will keep coming throwing punches. Think Washington probably wins a lot of early rounds but Kownacki wears him down and gets a late stoppage
