FORMER boxer Chris Eubank was escorted off a British Airways flight after his repeated shouting led terrified passengers to call the police.

Witnesses said a brawl nearly broke out among furious flyers as the ex-supermiddleweight world champ caused the flight from Dubai to be delayed.

One told The Sun: “Chris started shouting and the plane had to turn back to the gate.

“He was really erratic and everyone was very freaked out by his behaviour. Some people on board ended up so nervous they called the police.”

The drama unfolded on the flight to Heathrow on Sunday.

Eubank, 52, was said to have “appeared stressed” as he sat in the middle of a row in economy. The passenger added: “We were just about to take off and he started shouting.

“He was screeching about leaving a bag of money back at the airport and said he needed to stop the plane having to take off. It was quite a scene.

“Many passengers were so angry with him for the scare and the disruption. He was eventually escorted off.”

BA said a passenger had “voluntarily elected not to travel” on the flight. Eubank was not detained by police when he returned to the terminal.

It comes after The Sun on Sunday revealed Eubank has been working as a police officer in Louisiana, US — despite having no training and twice being arrested in the UK.

WTF? Can anyone be a cop in the US? Stevie Seagull was also a cop wasn't he.

If someone recognized him they could have just said, "It's OK, he's normally a complete weirdo. Don't worry."

Sounds like something isn't right about the story. There are so many people getting out of the military that apply for cop jobs that it's actually really difficult for young people to land those jobs in some cities, never the less a 50 something year old celebrity immigrant.
Maybe a detention officer, but not a cop.

Edit; looked it up and it's indeed misleading. It's a town no one ever heard of and despite actual authority given to him, his role is speaking engagements on diffusing conflict.

Looks like those speaking engagements on diffusing conflicts are working well then.

Any non-celebrity would've been arrested for causing a disturbance on a plane.

              Wut in the effff.

This shoulda been in the headline somehow too. Maybe "Louisiana Police Officer & Ex-Boxing Champion Eubank Booted from Flight".

Did he try to bring his IBO belt on with him?
