FORMER boxer Chris Eubank was escorted off a British Airways flight after his repeated shouting led terrified passengers to call the police.
Witnesses said a brawl nearly broke out among furious flyers as the ex-supermiddleweight world champ caused the flight from Dubai to be delayed.
One told The Sun: “Chris started shouting and the plane had to turn back to the gate.
“He was really erratic and everyone was very freaked out by his behaviour. Some people on board ended up so nervous they called the police.”
The drama unfolded on the flight to Heathrow on Sunday.
Eubank, 52, was said to have “appeared stressed” as he sat in the middle of a row in economy. The passenger added: “We were just about to take off and he started shouting.
“He was screeching about leaving a bag of money back at the airport and said he needed to stop the plane having to take off. It was quite a scene.
“Many passengers were so angry with him for the scare and the disruption. He was eventually escorted off.”
BA said a passenger had “voluntarily elected not to travel” on the flight. Eubank was not detained by police when he returned to the terminal.
It comes after The Sun on Sunday revealed Eubank has been working as a police officer in Louisiana, US — despite having no training and twice being arrested in the UK.
