I really don't understand why people hate on boxers if they want to cash out.

Boxers put their lives on the line, especially the of Khan and the way he gets KOd, every time they step in the ring. If they've won world titles I'd say that's enough of a legacy to leave behind. Not everyone can be a Pacquiao, Mayweather, Ali....
Even crappy boxers deserve a payday, many boxers don't have lots of skills or qualifications to keep them going into retirement. Khan has plenty, but I'm not so sure Brook has banked enough to continue living the life.
