No way. Everyone thinks that but I cant see it. If Floyd does that then I will lose alot of respect for him. Ive never known him to run from anyone and he wants money more then anything. No one will ever convince me that Floyd will turn down 8mil for Margarito to fight Baldy for half of that at best.

I dont think Floyd would ever turn down that much money even if he knows that he definatly has a Oscar fight, but to make it worse, the Oscar fight isnt certain, so he wouldnt turn down that big money just because he has a chance to fight Oscar later on.

I think he threw Baldy's name in the mix just to do it and he knows that they fight last so it will give him extra time to make his decision but if Vargas wins & Baldy wins then I cant see Floyd going for Baldy. Everyone thinks so but you will see the true Floyd and he wont take that fight because the money is the most important thing to him. He's not under a HBO contract anymore where he can make big money for fighting anyone. He needs a big name and he also wants to be on PPV, so Baldy is out the picture.

    Its Shane or Margarito

Hatton's not fighting Mayweather this year.

His camp has said they'll look to fight him in '07.

I've always believed Shane would beat Floyd. He's too fast and strong.

It's a shame Shane never believed that.
When Floyd got all up in his face saying how he wants to fight him, he ignored Floyd. He gave PBF the cold shoulder.
He did own Floyd by making him look like an idiot begging for a fight, but he also could've made some decent money fighting Floyd, especially if they made it seem like they didn't respect each other and they had bad blood.

If Shane beats Vargas, I think that's the most interesting fight for Floyd.

I'd like to see the Margarito fight too, but Shane's style (imo) makes for a more interesting match up.

I'm relieved that this is up, i was dreading a fight with cosme rivera who would do no better than Gomez. I wouldn't mind seeing either one of these fights though i would much rather see him go against Mayweather. the only fights i would see as acceptable for him are Mayweather, Hatton, Collazo, Judah, quintana or Williams. If he fights anyone else i will be very dissapointed, and i hope the fight goes through.

by the way i think Mosley can no longer hang with mayweather and stands less of a chance to beat him than does margarito. Mosley hasn't knocked anyone out since 2001 though he stopped vargas but we all know that was on a cut, while marg has stopped everyone of his last six wins (TD loss to Santos in between).

I see the possibility that both guys get outboxed and outspeed severely but i just can't see a scenario where mosley is able to find a way to beat PBF, while Margarito has the punchers chance.

That fight is a reality check.

Everyone on earth can claim Mosley is on the decline, but they'd surely have to admit one thing.

A fight with Sugar Shane is the biggest fight of Floyd's career.

Nobody Floyd has faced, has the star credentials and big fight experience that Shane does.

Perhaps Gatti is a big draw, but he's not on the star level Shane is.

Shane's got a big name but he's not a huge huge star. If he didnt fight Oscar then no one in the main stream would hardly know him until he fought Vargas.

Chico & Castillo have been in some big fights. They have fought eachother, Floyd, Casamayor. Chico fought Freitas, Castillo beat a prime Stevie Johnston twice, Julio Diaz

                    Nonsense.

Shane was at one point the P4P #1 fighter in the sport, and his victories over DLH made him arguably the biggest name in boxing.

The guys you are naming are ones that hardcore boxing fans know.

                    Not the general public.
