Styles make fights and Tete isnt some killer. Some novice midget landed clean shots on Tete and Nonito can so alot better than that.

      Dont know much about Tete.
One thing is for sure if you do not have a sturdy chin Nonito is going to do you in.
Say what you will, Nonito can still ****. His punches to the head and body are still crisp.
The man punches with bad intentions!!!

The precision and frequency with which he was landing his shots in his last fight was pretty impressive.

A very interesting match-up with with undetermined factors with Nonito going into this unification against top five WBO bantamweight champion Zolani Tete : before Ryan Burnett most fans ( including myself ) did not give Donaire a shot at the top bantamweights, due to the fact that Donaire was cutting down two weight divisions from featherweight,

coming off a loss vs. Carl Frampton -- a fight that many thought would be Donaire last opportunity at a world title, boxing, its funny like that.

Nonito appears to still have something left at bantam from the 4 rounds victory and claim to the WBA against Ryan Burnett, however is it enough for 12 rounds? Maybe it is wise of Nonito to focus on a KO ; theres no doubt Zolani will go 12 and be happy with a decision.

Tete is too sleek for Nonito.

Go rewatch the fight... Nonito was landing huge body shots that made Burnett fake the injury...

I'd love for Nonito to do some old school damage but that Nonito with those blinding skills hasn't been seen for years. For lots of reasons Donaire's position is similar to where Pacquiao is at, but Manny (against Matthysse at least) looked like he's got some of that killer instinct back under Buboy.
I hope I'm wrong because I've been a fan of Donaire for too long, but I've got the younger, taller, longer ZT in this one.

Tete isn't a killer but neither is ND anymore. Burnett was boxing his ears off for the most part and a younger Donaire wouldn't have stood for that. That's why I say his fire is just smoldering ashes now.

He did land some decent work downstairs but to say it led to Burnett taking a dive is a claim and a half.
I've been a fan of Nonito since nineteen canteen but he's only 75% max of the fighter he used to be when he was blitzing mofos.
