I didn't really see usyk switch into another gear. i saw bellew gass and the openings that weren't there before for usyk were Certainly now there. Uysk had trouble landing his power shots thats because of bellews herky jerky head movement . by the 6 7 that head movment was reduced to a gassed mess. If anything bellew couldn't keep up with usyks endurance.......
I don’t agree with any of that. Bellew never looked dangerous. Never gave Usyk a hard time.

and he was hitting his hooks more in the later rounds because he adjusted and started throwing them from an awkward angle that Tony didn’t even see them coming from. That’s why the KO shots were so devestating.

Couldn’t of said it better myself , bellew was stopped in 8 by Adonis , was ****ed in the 1st haye fight after 8 against a guy who couldn’t stand ... common sense says history and his age means he will fade bad .Mayweather gave roUnds away against mcg , but as above mentioned there was no way he was going to win another second of the fight

About equal, I thought, but I wasn't scoring. Essentially there was no significant action anyway... Bellew trying to draw Usyk onto the counter and Usyk trying to figure out how to get to a guy who just wasn't giving up openings. These are the kinds of rounds I'd happily score 10:10, though I know that's frowned upon these days.

Sad that people don't understand strategy or the momentum of a fight. The KO didn't come as a fluke, or "getting caught", it came as a direct result of the first 7 rounds so it doesn't matter who took those. What happened in those first 7 caused Tony to fatigue and become a sitting duck. Usyk obviously wasn't is a rush. Are you going to ask who won the first round of every Mayweather fight? Because it's meaningless.

yeah, I'm getting tired of the constant "Boxer A was boxing his ears off until he got caught"

****ing go watch Amateur boxing if you want to watch point scoring. Knock outs are part of the sport, and they aren't a fluke.

I've been saying this for the longest time too ...

... well, ever since some people declared that Vitali Klitschko "beat" Lennox Lewis on points. So many here don't understand how momentum works.

or how Amir Khan was boxing Canelo to death until he got caught with a lucky punch. I Can probably come up with 5 other examples if I tried.

Yeh khans a good example, he goes 100mph for for 4 rounds with no way of sustaining it and also loses all pop in his punch after 4 ... then gets chinned an people say he was boxing his head off , nope he was in 5 th gear flat out just to stay competitive ,against a guy in 2nd gear ,Mathew Macklin was another Brit who always did the same lol
