Mayweather needs to be on that list. He fought half the decade but did more than anyone on your list.

They'll never give it to him.

He could go fight and beat Deontay Wilder and they still wouldn't.

Right now it is clearly Mayweather.

In this decade he beat at the time:

P4P #3 fighter in the world in Mosley, #2 fighter in the world in Pacquiao, and a top 10 P4P fighter in Canelo. Also has win over Cotto during that stretch. Technically Guerrero was top 10 P4P at the time he beat him, but that was a joke ranking by the Ring Magazine.

Ward has Froch/Abraham/Kovalev/Dawson which is impressive but not quite Floyd level.

Canelo has Lara/Trout/GGG/Cotto. Damn good, but some will write him off due to the close decisions that went his way.

Crawford doesn't have the opponents to make a strong case but if he beats say Thurman and Spence? Then he will be up there. Lomachenko beats Garcia then he has a case himself.

So yeah, right now it is Floyd's award to lose....The caveat is he pretty much only fought half a decade and guys like Canelo will have time to build their case even stronger.

There's still a year left to go.

If Mikey beats Spence in March and follows it up with a Lomachenko win... that's quality right there. Especially beating Spence (which I seriously doubt happens).

On the other hand, if someone in heavyweight cleans up the division--- Fury - Wilder - AJ - Usyk, that's probably fighter of the decade quality as well, since we all know heavyweight is the premier division and get extra special treatment. But I would fully believe Usyk is deserving of it, if he pulls it off.

What about Naoya Inoue? If he wins WBSS and gets a fight/beats that drug cheat Luis Nery, that puts him in good condition on the P4P list. Maybe not enough for FOD, though.

                  Fighter of what f#cking decade?

                  2009-2018?

Or is this some future sh^t & its 2018-2027?

Or are we in the middle of it 2013-2022?

Or are we near the end of the classically defined decade 2010-2019?

If its anything other then in the middle of it its probably some guy not even on your list or some guy whos not even had a meaning fight yet if 2018 is year 1.
