Floyd seems to be saying he might take a fight he has a chance of losing, but only if it is an exhibition and not official.

And honestly, who in Floyd's position would have done anything differently for the end of his career. People really, really wanted him to fight Pac, and he got over $200 million for one of the easiest fights of his career. And he also got over $200 million for an even easier fight against Connor.

If the public is dumb enough to buy up his biggest mismatches, why not? Would you fight someone harder for a fraction of the money? The American public is easily duped and incredibly ignorant on many issues. He could have fought Thurman or Spence or Porter or Lara or whoever else was an elite ww/sww and it wouldn't have gotten 2 million ppv buys. If it was $100 a pop, he wouldn't have even gotten one million buys. But throw in a washed up, beaten down borderline-midget or someone who has NEVER boxed professionally and both sell over 4 million. lmao. As Don King said, "Only in America!"

Supposedly the original contract was a lil nuts.

Rizin allegedly was doing just like Japanese twitter was saying...trying to get a US TV deal off of Floyd's back & selling the US rights to show this fight was gonna be the first card.

They also had a 3 fight deal with Floyd in the contract. It wasn't a 1 off situation.

It was for 3 round boxing exhibitions doe so idk what that Rizin guy was talking about with the rules up in the air.

This is according to Floyd's side anyway.

Rizin has been rumored to be near done. Their TV ratings have been going down. ONE (their biggest Asian competitor) has been making big moves picking up UFC guys left & right. Rizin needed to make a move.

I'm not buying the PPV and neither are you.. but millions of mofos did and we can't control how ppl spend money. the Conor fight sold that much because millions of MMA dorks genuinely believed Conor could win. they weren't trolling they really believed that. so the money and demand was huge. no boxer in history past or present would pass on that because "it's not good for the sport". none.

Okay. What about doing it again with Khabib? A fight nobody even asked for. Every time there’s a big fight or announcement Floyd takes to social media to try to steal the light. I really dislike Floyd but you can't take away his prowess in the ring and his business sense.
All he is now is about the spotlight and $$$$$.
Who can blame the money part though.
You would have to be ****** to turn down the McGregor fight or any of his next money grabbing circus shoes.
It's not the hardcore fans of boxing that loses cause we just won't be buying into any of it.
It's the general public, casuals and haters of Floyd that keep giving him these paydays so who wouldn't do the same if you were in his shoes.
