Usyk needs 2 fights against top Heavyweights before facing the Champions Joshua & Wilder.

LOL Usyk would be too much for Ward. Much bigger, much stronger, much faster.

Plus, not only is Joshua #1, and therefore the meaningful guy to target, but Joshua is the big money fight in the UK, not Wilder in the U.S. Usyk has way more fans in Europe and the UK due to the WBSS, and now Bellew, than he has in the USA, I imagine.
Usyk a star in Ukraine but Wilder in Alabama. Around 15 Mio Ukrainians watched his fight against Bellew. How many Americans watching Wilder fights live ?

You think Ward can fight at such a high pace for 12 rounds and won't get hit ?? Plus Ward never fought an elite southpaw. Here you have with Usyk a P4P Top 5 fighter who is Undisputed Champ.

ward has never faded in a fight before..you can argue that his pace overwhelmed sergey in the latter part of both fights..ward was p4p no 1,unified light heavyweight champ..now I know ward's retired but I'm just comparing the two matchups

That's why Andre Ward picked Tony Bellew to beat Oleksandr Usyk. I think Ward is jealous on Usyk winning the WBSS tournament.

I think that he was hoping that pick was right and he could expose Usyk but he couldn't and we all seen the end result.
Now people are comparing the two which Ward doesn't like.
I doubt it very much if he comes out of retirement to fight Usyk cause he knows he's the real deal and a very hard fight were Ward will get his 0 taken and his legacy compromised abit.

Great to hear, Take minimum 3 fights at Heavyweight first before jumping in with the Top Guys at Heavyweight but the Ukrainian fighters seems to do things different, they seems far more willing to step in to the fighter as soon as possible instead of all these "Marinating" Stuff

Manuel Charr, David Price, Bryant Jennings, Pulev, Helenius maybe 2-3 guys for this short list 1st before AJ, Wilder or Fury

Usyk is the only fighter left for Ward to fight, it makes sense in that it would be the first Cruiserweight Superfight with Ward gunning for a third title against the undisputed champion, and for Usyk a chance to beat a legend who is still in his prime.

Jennings doesn’t belong with those D list fighters. Jennings is a B guy. Charr and Price are D guys at this point. The others C.

If Usyk has to face 3 B guys, I’d likely go with Jennings, Parker and Whyte.
