Who is the 'Lineal ' champion ?

When Marciano retired Patterson was seen as the lineal champ with his win over Moore but Vitali Vs Sanders to me is not the same . Even if you gave it to Vitali he retired which leaves it empty again . Byrd was good but he was never seen as the best so he couldnt have held it Brewster didnt beat the people needed other then Wlad..... So who is it ?

There isn't one, and that's a problem. In the court of public opinion, Wladimir Klitschko is the best heavyweight today and the one everyone wants to beat to prove something.

There is no real champ at hw currently.Wlad is being viewed as the best at the moment, but with his weak chin and questionable stamina he could be knocked off the top anytime.Possibly by Shannon Briggs.

yeah i know but "by right of history" who should it be ? I mean Rahman was the last to beat Lewis and he holds the title that Lewis had and Vitali won by beating Sanders so isnt he the most deserving at the moment ...
