Why cant Usyk have success at HW?

Can someone please give me a logical explanation why this man cannot find success in the heavyweight division? You honestly think his 6 foot 4 frame cannot accommodate a solid 220-225LBS?

If Usyk takes a 5-6 month layoff links up with a S&C coach get him on weight training program and increase his calories there is no reason why he cant slap on about 8lbs of muscle to get him ready for war at HW.

Can he beat wilder, AJ, fury??? Now I wont go that far just yet but do you honestly think this man wont be able to hold his own against the lower level/middle tier heavies to start out?

There's no difference between cruiser and heavy. If you can fight as a cruiserweight than you can at heabyweught. It's the norm for great cruiserweight to do well as heavyweights. It's surprising if they don't do well.

No reason whatsoever, a lot of people don’t know much about boxing on here. They are boxing fans but they don’t have boxing knowledge.

But if you read the comments on this forum you would be under the impression that usyk gets manhandled like a little helpless child at HW

Its strange because apparently hes too small but Ortiz who isnt really any bigger apart from some extra fat, who hasnt achieved anything in pros or amatuers is apparently too slick for everyone apart from wilder. It doesnt matter that ortiz isnt 6 ft 7 or so but it does for usyk

It's interesting to see how he fares with the top 20/30 or maybe 40 HW's for his couple of fights to see how ready he is.

You can't just put him there with the big boys of the division. They will kill his morale with some devastating punches.

I agree slowly work his way up the division. He still also has to prove his chin at HW.

He will be good enough to handle the guys below elite level but the gulf in class between that and elite is HUGE.

Against the elite he has a few things going against him

                1. He's not really elusive. Compare to a David Haye who in his prime was able to avoid getting hit for 12 rounds if he didn't want to. That's not Usyk, he takes shots in every fight, he's not difficult to lay a glove on.

                2. He doesn't hit that hard, yes I know he ktfo Bellew, so did Adonis Stevenson, Makabu had Bellew on ***** street, so have various 175lb journeymen. Usyk doesn't hit as hard as a prime Haye or Holyfield

                3. Unproven chin, now he MAY turn out to have evander holyfield type toughness but i don't know, and I think that's an outside hope.

So you are looking at a guy who the big boys aren't going to fear what's coming back too much, who (in Wilder and Joshuas case) are MURDEROUS punchers who basically knock out or at least seriously hurt anyone they land a clean punch on.

Skill is cool, but Wilder and Joshua have already beaten guys who were more skilled than them AND who were huge punchers.

Personal opinion here, Usyk should forge a dynasty at CW and head north for selected fights, do the roy Jones approach

yeah but the belts will end up fragmenting again, they always do.

After Fury/Wilder we have to get Wilder/AJ and once its unified there will be some BS mandatories called and the belts will split off again.
