Ward fought at 178lb in the amateurs, then moved down to fight much smaller men.

GGG at the same age fought at 140 in the amateurs and moved up 3 weightclasses to middleweight.

GGG has won world championships and medals at 140, 147, 154 and 160.

Ward has only won anything at Supermiddle and Lightheavy, what a loser. Scared of Usyk too.

I don’t think it’s fair to ask him to fight a monster who is significantly larger than him and probably similarly (if not more) skilled. Ward had a great career and should enjoy his retirement.

The same people in this thread are the same ones who said that Ward would never fight crusher Kovalev.

Ward goes on to beat Kovalev twice and those people said that he lost both fights. Now they think they've found another monster who can beat Ward but they say Ward will duck him, even though he's retired.

Rinse and repeat (laced with hatred).

If you're going to talk about amateurs, Shawn Porter beat USYK and then held wins from 147-168. Porter is the GOAT!

I'd love to see it, but he'd be a heavy underdog. With that said, I've never seen Ward shy away from a challenge. The question will be does Eddie/DAZN want to spend the money necessary to get Ward back into the ring. I doubt it. Just my opinion.

You must be trolling as 168 to 205 range is massive.

First, ward only did that so he wouldn't have to face all his friends in team USA as he would have beat them all... Facts, look it up.
And maybe genetics matter? Ggg developed late? Andre earlier?

By your logic Jeff lacy is atg! Ggg amateur career is so padded with tomato cans and amateurs doesn't translate to pros.
Loma lost in his 2nd pro fight and he is prob the most decorated amateur of the current Era.

If there is anyone who can make this a boring fight it’s Ward. No thanks.
