I’m not convinced about Usyks heavyweight prospects. Beating A fighter with one foot in retirement like Bellew isn’t a huge accomplishment in my opinion.

Usyk should fight and retire Adonis Stevenson next in my opinion.
If he goes to HW he is going to get bullied and stopped by the sheer size and power of some of these guys.

Very risky fight. Does Usyk with his mediocre power at CW have the power to break Price glass chin? Price isn't that bad technically, he has the ability to send Usyk to dream world.

If they are legit wanting Joshua lined up for this time next year or early in 2020 I think Joseph Parker is a good opponent selection.

Luis ortiz. Pretty easy style match up for him and not a huge size difference. I cant see slow old ortiz landing many shots.

Someone the size of AJ/Wilder/Fury at a lower ability level.

What is the point of Usyk fighting a 220lb heavyweight (outside of wilder)? You know cruiswerweights are 210-215 now right?

Usyk is 6'3'' with a 78" reach. He needs practice fighting someone taller and with a bigger reach. Fighting someone his size or smaller is just like fighting another cruiserweight.

                They would be good too.

Povetkin would be the only smaller heavyweight I want to see him fight. No small bums, if its going to be a bum, might as well be a large guy he can get used to fighting the taller men.

Breazeale would be a perfect tune up for Usyk in heavyweight.

That's why I think it would be a good fight for Usyk. Price is a risky but beatable guy. If Usyk struggles with him it would be a sign that he'd better run back to the safety of cruiserweight.

He would be a good test as well. A step up from my suggestion of Price but slow enough that Usyk might be able to outbox him.
