Almost certainly just a slight misunderstanding over what was meant by the 'A' side... Usyk probably simply meant that's he's champion and was bringing the belts. It's not like he doesn't know who's paying for this ish. 'A-side' is a contextual idiom, and whilst generally we tend to use it in a financial sense, that's hardly set in stone and certainly not something a non-English speaker would necessarily understand.

    Non news.

Tony is the more known name for sure and he will get paid off of that only, but uysk we know is the better boxer in every since of the word and of course he is the favorite to win.

I loves tonys confidence and it will be an exciting fight. If this is his last fight like he says and he wins he will go down as a tough cruiser but if he loses I think he will be forgotten he has lost ever big fight that matter in his career

This should always be the case as long as you're not Mayweather or Pacquaio.
The A-side gets to dictate what the B-side gets. End of story.
Then when you beat the crap out of the A-side, you do the same in the rematch.
Wilder, the bum killer, was B-side, yet he didn't cooperate from day one.
Guy was offered about 10x his average purse, he said no.
Bear in mind he's also the one begging for the fight.

... just a side note: WBC still holds Bellew as "Emeritus Champion"...

              Fair point from Bellew.

              But totally irrelevant.

"Listen mate, the last thing you are is the A-side. You’re getting a flat fee, I pay you. The money’s mine, I’m paying him a flat fee for what he’s getting. It’s a lot of money but I’m paying him a flat fee, I take the venue, I take the revenue." - Tony Bellew

Who was negotiating for Usyk? Usyk deserved a split similar to what GGG got for the first fight with Canelo! I mean DAMN! Usyk has ALL the belts at Cruiserweight! That should count for something?

"Bellew is the A-side" sounds so wrong...Only in Britain, only with Hearn.

Why do people on this forum make a big issue out of who is or isnt a draw? What does it matter to real fans?

So more casual sky sports subscribers in the uk know who bellew is. This is supposed to be a forum full of boxing fans. We all know uysk is a level above bellew.

Hes a road warrior who has beat 3 unbeaten champs in there own backyards all within 15 fights. Hes someone chasing glory trying to jump up and fight AJ.

Why people arent right behind him i have no idea? Going from cruiser to fighting a heavy who comes in at 250 is the same as spence jumping up to fight usyk. The man deserves his credit.
