So none of those boxers are/were world class level fighters whilst having non ripped physiques?

they were world class but you basically just listed a bunch of guys who didn't live up to their potential as examples of why physiques mean NOTHING

i'm pretty sure if Bowe and Tua had taken their conditioning seriously and lived the life (thus having better physiques) they would have had better careers than they did

A good physique often means you take your conditioning very seriously, and that DOES make a big difference.

      Only slobs say otherwise

I find it annoying/frustrating when I see someone with talent turn up with love handles and boobs.

There’s guys like my self who are in better shape year round just to keep fit/look good.

Then you have ‘pro’ athletes who can only be bothered to eat and train for 6 weeks leading up to a fight, it shows very poor will power.

Yeah it can do, but its well known many boxers who are chiseled or ripped have poor stamina less energy fat reserves. Conditioning can be trained to a certain extent but genes hold the key to the individual ceiling for stamina. Hence canelos muscled look but poor stamina which has been a continued detriment in some fights.

Canelo's stamina is good. His issue is his natural stockyness and style. And your thinking about muscle bound fighters, not ripped fighters. Most top boxers are shredded and have great stamina. If your pudgy, you're not hitting your potential.

Stop playing off the accomplishments of top quality fighters just to try and prove a dumbass point you made
