It was a TKO, feather fists couldn’t drop her.

What else is amazing is how many times some of those great old timers got KOed many times and kept coming back as good as new. No cracked chins for them.

Sam Langford also fought Joe Jeanette at least 11 times and is the first that came to mind, but ye he fought a number of the same top heavyweights of his time a good numbers of times sometimes for the coloured heavyweight title or for the Australian heavyweight title which was highly coveted back in them days, not quite on par with the world heavyweight titles but may as well have been as these men never got chance to fight for it.

It's Wills not Willis not important like but ye.

the boxrec for them both really highlights the racism from those times, goddamn!

"The two blacks were fighting on even terms on the finish, but the referee's decision easily went to Wills."

and the word "colored" appears 36 times on Harry Wills' page
