I'm telling you, per Canelo, the idea of going after Fielding is ONLY because of that belt. His trainers idea. Not because they give a damn about beating Fielding.

No matter your opinion of said belt WBA regular belt, no belt on Fielding and they don't bother making this fight.

So to get Canelo's attention you either have to be a name fighter (Khan) or have a belt (Fielding/Smith). Canelo wants names on his resume and straps. It's very easy to understand this. Try and follow.

real boxing people know that belt isnt the real belt. its not opinion. its boxing knowledge. fielding is a secondary champion. a mandatory basically. just like jacobs was to ggg at 160. ggg was the wba champion. jacobs had the "other" wba belt. a casual fan doesn't know this so they'll believe that its the real title. its only 4 champions per divison bro. everybody else is secondary. thats facts. not opinion

Real fans don't like it, too many belts, but it's a belt, therefore the regular belt holder is the Champion as well. Blame the WBA, not me or Canelo.

There are too many belts and the WBA doing this doesn't help, but don't shoot the messenger. I'm just telling you why Canelo is fighting Fielding, because he has a belt. That's it. Canelo fights you if you have a name, a belt or the fans start demanding the fight. That's it!
