This happens ALL the time. Goldenboy just pulled this on Mikey Garcia. They offered him Cotto BUT he had to sign up for like 2-3 fights to get him. They just word it different.

And Bob Arum does this to his CURRENT fighters when their contract his about up. Either resign or sit your ass down for a year or two. Hes what ***ed up the Chavez/GGG fight when Chavez was good...

"If GGG wants the Canelo fight he needs to sign to fight 2-3 more times on DAZN"

I caught that one also. Flip side is he can offer Jacobs/GGG winnerhen vs. Caneelo. Or Jacobs/Canelo rematch immediately. DAZN is in a VERY great spot to be a MW. They got the 3 of the 5 best. Saunders works with them also. Only one hard to make is Charlo fights. And of course GGG if signs with Top Skank.

When Eddie suggest that Canelo fights Danny first and then GGG, he implies that Danny is going to lose to Canelo. Quite frankly, that's the way I see it as well. Not by KO though, but Vegas, decision...need I say more?

Yeah I know. I'm not saying it's right or that they should do it but all promoters do that. I can't blame them though, they just looking for security for their company.

Idiots like you want Canelo to fight all these top guys back to back to back while all the other top guys are fighting bums like you while they wait for their turn for the Canelo pay day....
This is a voluntary fight for Canelo 3 months after a brutal war with Triple g so I have no problem with Canelo fighting Fielding...
But Charlo is Fighting another bum like you but you expect Canelo to jump in the ring with Charlo so soon after the Triple g war??
Why not call out your hero Charlo and suggest he step up in competition while he waits for the Canelo pay day???
So who's really the wuss besides you??
So you think it's good for boxing that the most popular name in boxing currently to regularly fight low level opponents while everyone else goes to war? Especially after he had a 1 year layoff prior to September? Well as a boxing fan I don't agree. Canelo is in a loaded division and should be fighting some of these top guys and they should all be fighting each other. He definitely shouldn't be going to 168 (after spending 2 years saying how he wants to grow into divisions) to fight the #9 ranked guy in that weight class. Also, This isn't a voluntary fight for canelo because voluntary defense would mean he's defending his title against a voluntary opponent. He's not even defending his title because if he stayed at mw, he'd at least have to fight lemieux. Lemieux is ass but at least brings a threat. Fielding is just pure trash. That's a wuss move. Canelo will come back to mw and then the wack ass wbc will then let him take a voluntary and it's highly doubtful that next fight would be vs a jacobs or charlo despite what the buzz is. You just wait and see how many trash opponents they line up for canelo the next few yrs. People like to rave about his resume but don't realize that for the past 4 yrs he's only fought 2 credible opponents and both of those guys were in their mid to late 30s. Everyone else has been garbage.

You think ESPN and Top Rank arent offering GGG the same thing??? GGG will have to sign a MULTI fight agreement with them also.

come on, Golovkin will not fight those guys

he already refused to fight Charlo, despite the fact that beating Charlo guarantees him a shot at Canelo

the most that Golovkin will do is fight yet another no-hoper

I expect nothing from him, he has already made his intentions clear

Jacobs has earned that shot already..... either that or Jacobs/Charlo should fight and Canelo face the winner
