if you think that's funny, I had to pay £20 to get SKY reconnected too, think it ended up costing me £36 ($47) and it was one of the events that convinced SKY to ditch PPV boxing entirely lol. Eddie Hearn got me good and proper there, convinced me Audley had found god so was going to be a whole new animal on the night.

OH NO!!! Eddie please don't sacrifice Pricey to Takam, give the guy a real shot for Christ's sake. Price vs White Rhino would be great, but I don't want to see either of them lose

Are they serious about doing Price vs Takam? it's like I said the other day, it's as if his management think he's just one win away from being back in contention so they throw him in to get hammered over and over I hate scousers but I can't find it in my heart to hate big Pricey

Takam is such a tank, he would just get inside Pricey and hammer him with huge shots until he crumbles or blows out his ass, which would take probably 90 seconds against that heat. He can win big fights, I really believe that, but he has to be matched with the right kind of guys. Make Pricey vs The Highlander on this card!!

I wouldn't call any fighter in any division who is top 5 in the Ring magazine a gate keeper. Even Wilder and Ortiz who have horrible boxrec records I wouldn't call gate keepers.

If you look at boxrec there is basically Aj and then everyone else grouped on about half the points are they all gatekeepers in which case it doesn't say much that he's on top of all this rubbish.
I've watched heavyweight fights for decades, and can say with confidence that Whyte and Chisora are gatekeepers at best in today's pathetic heavyweight scene, and wouldn't even be in the conversation in the decades past.

This will sell well for sure.

We love our boxing in the UK.
Whyte just isn't very good, period. If he had any confidence at all, he would have fought old man Ortiz. If you duck a 40 yr old guy, you don't even deserve gatekeeper status.

You must watch boxing with blind folds on by what you post on here, maybe you wear ear plugs to who knows seemingly oblivious to what goes on in boxing ? lol

How was Whyte not confident in fighting Ortiz when he challenged him 2 years ago and gave him an in at the O2 arena on july 28th but he declined ?

He didn't fight Ortiz because Chisora fight is more money ,its called prize fighting ,did you at least know that ? Hes also in line with Joshua and Hearn as his financial advisor wouldn't want an Ortiz fight now when Joshua is a huge fight.

You simply don't understand boxing because you cant be a gatekeeper when you are ranked highly in every sanctioning body or hold a silver belt title and defeat former champs on a 8/9 fight run.

You don't like the era because you are oblivious and Ortiz isn't 40 ,credible people have talked about that proves that hes actually 49 ...48 when he fought Wilder.

"Credible people" have talked about Ortiz's real age? I suppose you have something to back this claim? I doubt it. If he is that old, it should be an easy win then. Whyte has proven that him calling out Ortiz is only name dropping. He invited Ortiz to fight him in the UK, Ortiz accepted and said he will get off the Wilder card. Now Chisora is a much bigger money fight? Please...it is more money for Hearn being an in-house fight. If Ortiz would have beat Whyte, he would be in line with Joshua, which would have spoiled that in house fight too. Ortiz would probably take Joshua to school as well.
