I remember when I used to post on ESPN boxing website. I was basically screaming at the computer don't take that Manny fight lol. Oh well Chris I am wishing you good luck. You can definitely get an IBO belt.

I like this move to 140 by Algieri! He was never a WW, only a "prop" for Pacquiao! Arum made him look like he was something he was not! He barely beat Ruslan @ 140, but I would like to see him fight Linares or Ramirez!

At least Algieri had more balls than ggg who will retire knowing he never challenged himself by daring to be great the way Algieri has.

At least Algieri has fought in title fights in multiple divisions & won a title vs an actual full reigning champion(a very underrated champ imho in provodnikov(1 of my all time favorites to watch) thats a feat tons of so called "respected" fighters have yet to accomplish, like ggg hes a supposed p4p ex "champ" yet hes NEVER beaten an actual full reigning champion & hes older than Algieri & was the longest reigning"champ" in boxing til recently,& despite Algieris terrible"c- level" he has challenged himself vs far more challenging opponents than ggg whom refuses to face anyone with a pulse whom he doesn't think he has a huge advantage over,& esp. unless he gets ginger lottery $$

Algieri beating Provodnikov was legendary (even if I would've gave it to Provod.) That win was far more impressive than ANY ggg win.

Let the gggroupies hate begin. Who wants some of Deebo?

Algieri can't be accused of ducking, that's for sure. I can't blame him for taking fights against A level guys, either (especially Manny, cha ching)

He said he was never a 147'er, but didn't he kill himself to make weight against Spence?

He's a nice dude and a solid gatekeeper, whatever keeps him winning is probably good. 140 is still a good division.
