    2019 better bring it

The only fight I'm excited about for the rest of the year is Wilder-Fury. With all the politics, promoters, networks, etc. I fear we will have a major lull in good fights next year, with promoters holding on to their cash cows, sending them in against a bunch of tomato cans to try and build big fights. Sadly May-Pac set the blueprint for fans waiting years to see the fights they want to see. This kind of garbage is going to kill the sport.

    Joshua vs winner fury/wilder
    Loma-garcia
    Spence-crawford

Better happen next year or they’re all too late in 2020, atleast for me

good fights will get made seeing as fighters are getting old left & right, they want those checks before father time

i see G signing to DAZN so that will get Gee-Nelo 3 up & running and all the other middle weights will have to get busy

even the bs fights like Abner Mares - Tank + The Truth Spence / Mikey are good enough for me LSC-Gary RJ as well

Is the Leo Santa Cruz vs Gary Russell Jr happening next year? or at all? there was some talk about this fight and I actually really want to see it. Dont know if its gonna happen though

Will be interesting to see what kind of match ups DAZN will be offering to us next year, hopefully there will be some real good ones there too

I personally think either Wilder or Joshua is gonna lose before facing each other. I wouldn't be shocked if both of them lost.

JAnuary to March shows will be telling I think of what DAZN will bring. It needs to hold on to subscribers who joined from the start

That’s exactly my dilemma on fury-wilder. I’m backing fury up, but the wilder-joshua is more salivating with their 0s.

As mikey-loma will be before spence destroys mikey.

Between Joshua vs Wilder/Fury, Spence vs Crawford and Lomachenko vs Mikey I sadly doubt that we'll get to see more than one of the three in 2019. On the bright side I believe we'll see #1 vs #2 at 115, 118, 126, 140 and 154 next year unless injuries get in the way or something

half way through the year there will be Inoue V Tete, Taylor V Prograis, Bredis V Dorticos

thats pretty good going, but yeah spence, crawford, AJ, wilder, etc will all continue to duck each other, and the charlos will still be fighting street sweepers, which sucks.

Yeah 2019 is a make or break year for boxing as a whole 2017 and 2018 have provided enough hype and have brought interest back to boxing. Wilder-Joshua is the key, but Spence-Garcia, Crawford vs Any Top level fighter (name his last fight against top level opposition. Seriously) Tank Davis vs Mares or Farmer, and finally the 1+68lb picture. The return of Keith Thurman should help with star power and media draw, as well as the carryover from Wilder-Fury. DAZN will be a big player as well, especially if GGG signs, but also based on the success of the World Boxing Super Series. They just need to book bigger weight classes as 118 is just simply not as exciting as 175 or 200
It looks good so far since Garcia-Spence and Porter-Thruman look to happen in 1Q, but we'll see.
The main people who can ruin 2019 are Anthony Joshua, Eddie Hearn, Keith Thurman, the WBC, the NSAC, and of course Bob Arum.
