Daily reminder that Tyson Fury was banned for 2 years for PEDS

just another daily reminder that Tyson Fury tested positive (ALONG WIHT HIS COUSIN HUGHIE AND GOOD FRIEND BJS) for sterois (NANDROLENE) and he was forced to retire for 2 years because of it.

just a reminder that tyson fury looked like **** vs Pinetta and is getting sparked out Dec 1st.

What happened to Hughies results? I don't remember reading news he had to attend a hearing like Tyson did

It's interesting that this barely ever gets brought up, very few people are willing to question him about it, it seems and I think the majority of the public doesn't even know. Joe Rogan brought it up and Tyson's excuse was that nandrolone is naturally produced in the body so it was some kind of false/bogus positive. I don't believe it for a second but idk if that is even a defensible excuse haha.

Google says "Nandrolone is a synthetic, anabolic steroid analog of testosterone." Not naturally produced based on that description lol.

I would bet against him getting knocked out, I don't see it happening.

It's weird AF. The problem is, UK fans excuse their fighters for EVERYTHING, and no one in the US knows or cares so this whole this stays under the rug.

I'm not even interested in bashing the guy for it, but the fact that people won't even acknowledge or discuss it doesn't sit well with me.

Same, I started getting really into boxing a little over a year ago and I didn't even know he tested positive until a couple months ago, the narrative is always, "He had a coke problem and mental health issues." Never a mention of steroids.

What UK fans have you ever traveled out of US to see what kind of support he has in the UK.

People don't care because the failed test was from a fight before he got his title shot. Once he beat Klitschko and passed the drug tests for Klitschko, nobody was going to care about a supposed failure for an old fight. UKAD dropped the ball all the way around.

                  No need to generalise, lad.
