People are just disappointed because the Loma fight won't be interesting once Spence probably beats him down.
Mikey may not even come back down to 135. He may just retire. Mikey doesn't like boxing. How much longer is he going to stay in the sport? The window for the Loma fight is smaller than some seem to think.
Loma fans that I talk to, and as you can see I'm a Loma fan, aren't accusing Mikey of ducking Loma for Spence. That seems like something that Mikey fans want to believe.

Depends on what you mean by "big fight". Pacquiao is still a big name but not really the same Pacquiao of 3-5 years ago. Spence may be a lesser name but he's definitely the bigger challenge at welterweight. He's a legit 47 pounder and in his prime with a world title. In boxing terms, Spence is the bigger fight.

Obviously Spence is the bigger challenge. Mikey would still make more against Pacquiao and it's an easier fight for him at this point.

Then why are people saying he can't negotiate with Arum and his fights have to take place on Showtime?
If he is a free agent then he should be able to negotiate with whoever he wants, right?

Also, even if he isn't with Haymon does that mean he can't negotiate with Pacquiao? If anything if he is a free agent then he should have been able to negotiate with Pacquiao before Broner got the chance to.

He did want paquaio for a long time then manny pac signed with haymon and haymon is now manny pacs boss and he set up the broner fight, as you know manny signing with hayman and the fight with broner happened very fast, alot of people were suprised by that, now that hes with al haymon they set up the fights!!

how many things are you going to be wrong about before you understand that fighters are fighters, and they have matchmakers that set up the fights and managers, mickey wanted manny pac and manny pac knew it so why didnt manny pac make an offer??

and the only reason mickey and loma are pictured together is because MICKEY went and interupted an interview when Loma was in a studio session it was MICKEY that went to him!! why hasnt LOMA made a visit to mickey?? so what do you have to say about that?? or wait you probably didnt even know that!! how much more do i need to educate you?? its ok to be wrong if im ever wrong i will admit it and move on!!

Loma has a TERRIBLE loss to a cab driver with double digit losses. And look at him now top 3 P4P. You guys need to get over this loss sht. So what a fighter losses??? I root for PLENTY of fighters with 1, 2 ,3+ losses.

Canelo also has a loss. So does GGG, Sor Rungvisai, Santa Cruz, Briedis, Jacobs, Pac, etc.

Fury, Wilder, AJ ALL should have loses in the next couple of years.

If loma and Garcia fought tomorrow the winner would be recognised as the number one fighter in the world. Once he gets his ass handed to him by Spence, if he was to lose to loma people would say “it’s only because Spence ruined him” and please don’t act like that won’t happen. We all want to see mickey vs loma Bob arum told mickey to take the deal he offered or **** off..... who says that in boxing if they really want a fight to happen do you talk that way? when have you ever heard a negotiation go well when talking like that!!
