A deal for the opener of Showtime's four-fight pay-per-view telecast December 1 has been finalized. BoxingScene.com has learned heavyweights Joe Joyce and Joe Hanks have agreed to terms to fight on the Deontay Wilder-Tyson Fury undercard that night. London's Joyce (6-0, 6 KOs) and Hanks (23-2, 15 KOs), of Newark, New Jersey, will meet in a 10-rounder at Staples Center in Los Angeles.

Hanks probably looked like he was dead for him to be given the Joyce fight. He will probably get knocked out fast.

This is awful. Haymon has put on better undercards for his FS1 shows.

You guys will be hyped up from Stevenson vs Gvozdyk. Plus these undercards guarantee some big KOs to get social media buzzing about the fight.

Nobody is excited about seeing seeing quick KO's in mismatches. Should have had competitive fights instead.

Heading to the bar with my $20 for this. Not enough on this undercard to warrant hosting the event when I've already got an alternative.

For folks without the alternative, Wilder-Fury is more than an interesting enough fight to still watch the event (with the undercard maybe delivering a great finish/performance to tide you over).

Having Stevenson-Gvozdyk as the lead in to the event isn't a bad deal either

This will be murder. I'll peak Gvozdyk/Stevenson but I ain't watching this card. CFB Championship Games will be getting my attention
