Danny doesn't understand what Mikey is thinking because his Mentality is nowhere near Mikey's. In the end when both their careers are over the name who will stand out is Mikey Garcia.. There was a lot of non-believers and haters on this site who said Mikey was only Barking. Find some more new Shyt to hate on fkn haters

        M. Garcia vs Crawford would have been a better match-up. Bud's only just moved up so Mikey's closer to him in terms of natural size than Spence. Spence could easily go up to 154, and may even dip his toes in at 160 before he retires. I think Mikey's bitten off more than he can chew here but hey, unless you strive for greatness you'll never achieve it.

Thurman will be in a title fight (vs. Porter)! Spence Jr. will be in a title fight (vs. Mikey)! AB will be in a title fight (vs. Pacquiao) Why is DSG not pursuing a title fight? There's one available! Dear Mr. Haymon! Let's put Bob Arum's "Talent Trade" strategy to the test! Send DSG to ESPN for Crawford, and let's see what he does in return! BUD vs. DSG! Make It Happen!
I have a feeling Crawford vs Garcia will happen in 2019.

It's remarkable isn't it? The Floyd era turned fans into apologists for a risk mitigation mindset. Its counterintuitive to the glory seeking that gave boxing its appeal.

Unfortunately boxing is a niche sport so it doesn't get the sort of quality media attention as mainstream sports, but few athletes have had that sort of impact on the psychology of fans the way Floyd has.

His legacy was both a gift and a curse. It showed what a true commercial guerrilla boxing can be at its apex, but with that realization came rational thought in a sport that has thrived on the opposite since its inception. Fighters are richer now. They'll probably retire healthier too. But the sport won't allow for the sort of matchmaking that made it thrive historically.

I'm not saying it's good or bad, but it's different.

Racism is allowed on the site? Or is it only anti-White racism that's allowed?

It's not just fans who overemphasize the value of the 0 on the record, but the fighters and more importantly the promoters who control the matchmaking. There's a lot of asset protection in the sport these days in padding records with fighters that had one Hope before Bob died. And yes, Mayweather was the main instigator of that mind-set. As a fan I certainly prefer watching a well matched fight whether it's a barn-burning slugfest or a skillful chess-match than a one sided blowout against someone who wouldn't look out of place on a night-club door. They have their place, but once a prospect is into double figures in the W column there's no excuse to be fighting no-hopers in my opinion.

Ugas is no joke! I feel so badly for him, because he's being SWERVED just like Eleider Alvarez was for years! Unfortunately, just like Alvarez, Lara, and King Kong Ortiz, he can't sell a ticket! Why these guys are not fighting in Florida is crazy???!!! Thurman, Berto, Lara, Ugas, Ortiz, Lubin and the whole Kevin Cunningham crew should take over Florida ASAP!
