If Usyk doesn't ask, he is behind whoever is the WBO mandatory (Whyte), IBF Mandatory (Pulev), Wilder for a unification and Miller for a nice easy roll out in the US for AJ.

I'd be much more interested in seeing that fight than AJ going up against Whyte if that were the April fight. I'd even try to get down there to watch it in person.

Hearn - “the fans have spoken, and they don’t want to see Joshua fight Wilder, Fury, Usyk, Ortiz...we are giving the fans the fight they want! Joshua vs Takam III! After that I’ve heard demand for both Joshua vs Pulev II and Joshua vs Whyte VI!”

Difference is that Usyk actually earned his gold medal.

And usyk is a much bigger threat than any current heavyweight IMO

I think April might be a lil early for Usyk. I'd like to see Usyk take a HW fight or two. I think there time table of before 2019 ends is more on point. If Joshua has 3 fights in 2019 I think there is a good chance that if Usyk keeps winning he could be the 3rd fight of 2019 for Joshua.

That said it'd be a highly interesting fight for April if it did get made assuming this weekend looks like I think it'll look like. Cuz we'd know Usyk could outbox Joshua, but there'd be high speculation of if Usyk could take Joshua's punches. If we get to see Usyk in a HW fight or two we might see that Usyk can or can't take a HW punch & that might take out some of the excitement.

I agree too early too, but 2 x Wilder, IBF Pulev, WBO Whyte and Miller (no case for it but will sell tickets) is 2+ years. So I think Usyk threatens to ask to be made WBO mandatory and agrees a date with Joshua at the end of 2019 . That said, I have my tickets for Saturday and hoping for a miracle!

Fair play A.J. ....If he has any chance it will most definitely as A.J. say's be on the counter. I take my hat off to Tony for taking this fight as he could will end up being totally dominated and destroyed and there's not many around now that are prepared to take such fights as such a big underdog .

Can Tony Bellew hit harder than Joe Joyce? Usyk took Joyce's best punches and walked him down in the last 2 rounds of their WSB bout. Unless Usyk walks Bellew down, counter punching ain't gonna work. Also, Usyk ain't no over the hill David Haye.
